Health, Biotech and Cleantech loom large at key SW Investment Showcase

South West-based venture capital firm QantX will be bringing together investors, founders, and local ecosystem changemakers to showcase innovative companies at Exeter’s Winslade Park on Thursday  – and we’ll be there to see what exciting developments are taking place across the region.

The event will focus around the founders that QantX have supported and discussions on increasing investment into the SW for early-stage and scaling innovative businesses. A number of QantX’s portfolio founders, innovation prize winners and key stakeholders in the region will be attending.

They include Dr Sarah Cole of Senisca, Professor John Terry, Founder and CEO of Neuronostics, Rui Andres, CEO of Molendotech, Dr Kyle Stewart, Founder and CEO of Watercress Research, Dr Jake Biele, CEO and Founder of Light Trace Photonics, Matthew Bone, CEO and Founder of Molydyn, Dr Teo Garcia-Milan, CEO of CDotBio, Professor Paul Halloran, Founder of SeaCure Carbon, Charles Solanki of Lutra Health and Will Tulloch, CEO and Founder of SmartLight.AI.

Founders will talk about exciting progress and SW-based innovations in a variety of sectors across sustainability and healthcare that include anti-senescence therapeutics, vaccine stability & cold chain storage, carbon capture in seawater, rapid photonics prototyping, new material discovery, and battery cell design to name a few.
